Chapter 1: The Halloween Legend

It was Halloween in Adventure Bay, and Ryder and the pups were excited! They had all bought their Halloween costumes, and were now wearing them.
Ryder was wearing a vampire costume, Chase was wearing a werewolf costume, Zuma was wearing a wizard costume, Rubble was wearing a super hero costume, Marshall was wearing a mummy costume, Rocky was wearing a zombie costume, Tundra was wearing a princess costume, Skye was wearing a witch costume, Elsa was wearing a fairy costume, and Snowflake was wearing a bat girl pup costume.
The group was now hanging out at Mr. Porter's Café area, helping him out with Halloween decorations.
"Thank you Ryder. Are you and the pups going trick-or-treating?" Mr. Porter asked.
"Yes. By the way, what's up with that old, spooky looking house up on the hill near the bay?" Ryder asked curiously. Mr. Porter's eyes widened.
"Oh, you don't want to go there, Ryder! Haven't you heard The Legend about that place?" Mr. Porter responded.
"No. What legend, Mr. Porter?" Ryder asked as he and the pups listened.
"Legend has it, that the old house belonged to a citizen of Adventure Bay. One Halloween night, some trick or treating pups went to the house to hang out with the man who lived there. But after they searched the house, the man was no where to be found, and the pups were locked inside forever! Now the house is haunted by the ghosts of the pups that never got out." Mr. Porter told them.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" all of the pups yelled with fright, their eyes widened.
"'Ghosts of the pups'? You mean like ghost pups?" Ryder asked, trying to understand.
"Yes," Mr. Porter answered.
"Well, I don't think that's possible. I'm sure there's a simple explanation! There's no such thing as a ghost pup," Ryder replied kindly.
"Yeah, unless the pup is under a bed sheet!" Marshall said as the other pups laughed.
"Okay, Ryder. Feel free to check it out, but don't say I didn't warn you! Be careful! Happy Halloween!" Mr. Porter replied before walking away.
"No problem! No job is too big, no pup is too small! PAW Patrol, to the haunted house!" Ryder exclaimed before he started running to The Lookout.
"Okay Ryder!" the pups nervously replied, before following him.
