It was a nice cool, snowy day in Adventure Bay, and all of the pups were sitting around watching Apollo the Super Pup. Ryder came into the room with popcorn in a bowl for everyone.

"Hello pups, how are you all doing?" Ryder asked as he sat down.

"we're doing good, Ryder sir!" Chase replied with a smile.

"Ryder, what's the popcorn for?" Rocky asked, slightly confused.

"Well, I was looking at the TV shows that are on tonight, and there's a movie that's going to come on after Apollo the Super Pup. So, I thought we could watch the movie. I even bought popcorn," Ryder explained.

"Cool! What movie are we going to watch?" Rubble asked in excitement.

"The movie is called Balto," Ryder answered. Suddenly, when Snowflake screamed.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh! I love that movie!" Snowflake exclaimed, wagging her tail.

"You've seen the movie?" all of the pups asked her.

"Yes. I love that movie!" Snowflake explained.

"Wow! You're a real fan then, aren't you?" Ryder commented.

"Yes I am. Anyways, let's watch the movie," Snowflake replied. After Snowflake stopped talking, the movie began.

The movie was all about Balto and the dog sled team that carried the medicine from the town of Nenana to Nome. The movie was a cartoon, so it was appropriate for the pups, but it was still intense. Once the movie ended two hours or so later, all of the pups cheered, happy about seeing the movie.

"That was awesome!" Rubble commented with a smile on his face.

"Ryder, did Balto really do all of that?" Chase asked curiously.

"Well, it said at the end that it's based on a true story, but I could look up some more information about it. Anyways, it's bedtime. Goodnight pups!" Ryder replied before heading off to bed himself.

"Goodnight Ryder!" the pups responded as they too drifted off to sleep.

Meanwhile, somewhere far North up in the town of Nome, Balto saw something in the newspaper that a man was reading. It was an article about a dog team called the PAW Patrol.

"The PAW Patrol? I wonder what they do? It would be nice to meet them," Balto said to himself before ran out of town to go tell Boris.
